A look at some of the work we've done around Ontario

House foundation waterproofing

This job started with digging a trench down along the base of the house to fully expose the foundation wall — the part of the process that takes the most time, but it's what makes everything after it possible. Once the wall was exposed and cleaned up, we applied a waterproof membrane, a thick black material, directly onto the surface to seal it against moisture. Done right, this keeps water from working its way into the basement over time, which is exactly the kind of problem that's a lot cheaper to prevent than to fix later.

Foundation waterproofing — second property

Same core process as the job above — excavating along the foundation to expose the wall, then sealing it with the same waterproof membrane — carried out for a different property. Every foundation is a little different once you actually dig down to it, so each job gets assessed on site rather than assumed to be identical, but the underlying method and materials stay consistent from one property to the next.

Parking lot re-paint

For this one, we taped off every line first before any paint went down — the part of the job that determines whether the final result looks sharp or sloppy. With the lines marked out precisely, we painted over the taped sections and pulled the tape once it was done, leaving clean, even edges throughout the lot. It's a straightforward process, but getting it to come out this neat comes down to taking the time on the prep work rather than rushing straight to painting.

Concrete window sill installation

The old sills on these windows had worn down enough that they needed to come out entirely rather than be patched. We cut out the damaged concrete above and below each window, then installed new concrete sills in their place. Getting the fit and slope right matters here — a properly installed sill helps direct water away from the window rather than letting it pool, which is part of what makes this the kind of job worth doing properly rather than as a quick patch.
